Strautmann Umwelttechnik GmbH was founded by the Strautmann Group in 1993 in Melle in Lower Saxony. Since then Strautmann Umwelttechnik GmbH developes, produces and sells Baling- and Briquetting presses for the compaction and waste disposal of recyclables like cardboard packaging, film, PET bottles, airpop® (EPS) and residual waste. The product rage extends from single-chamber baling presses and multi-chamber baling presses to half- and full automatic baling presses.

With its briquetting presses Strautmann is the market leader in the beverage industry in Germany. Next to barrel presses the residual waste presses rubbish bin presses and roll container presses for residual waste complement the Strautmann product program.
