At the same time as introduction of PET bottles from Coca Cola Company in the year 1990 the development of Strautmann-Briquetting presses for PET bottles and beverage cans started. Since then Strautmann is the leading manufacturer and supplier for briquette presses in the beverage industry in Germany.
Our briquette presses are integrated into the running process of bottlers, beverage producers and counting centres and compact PET bottles into briquettes. Then the briquettes are sold to recyclers and are recycled.
